How Do We Do It? A very detailed making process!

We often get asked how we make our clothes. As well as our seasonal collections, we also offer a made to order service with made to measure included in the price.  AND all hand made in the UK!

Well let me explain.... we are a very small team with huge attention to detail. Sue designs the clothes, makes the knitting patterns, sends the cashmere and patterns to her knitters and so that process starts......

Naomi makes the patterns for all our dresses, boys outfits and all special occasion wear including the flower girl dresses, page boy outfits and communion dresses. She makes the paper patterns often to match the customer's measurements given, then cuts out the dress/outfit and then sends it to the dressmaker and so that process begins....

So we have a team of ladies who do all the hand knitting and we have a team of dressmakers to do all the sewing. Then we have Sue who is our embroidery and crochet expert and hand finishes our most of our knitwear and we also have our super smocker Myra who hand pleats and hand smocks all our beautiful smocked dresses.

So just remember next time you see one of our dresses, outfits or baby knits, a lot of effort went into making it!

This is why we can offer a truly bespoke service. If you think we can help you and would like to discuss your ideas, call us or email us!
